Pantomime

There was pantomime magic
And sparkle tonight.
Ho Ho Yes there was!

Wax

Waterfall of wax
Treasured moments cooled
To be remembered again

Mr and Mrs

Marriage of convenience

Wrapped in ice and snow.

Cold hands hide warm hearts.

Christmas is Coming

A parcel arrived
With Christmas wishes.
Now sitting under our tree.
Anticipation growing
As the countdown continues.

Just Sayin'

Red sky at night and morning;
Delight or warning?
Bewildered, Shepherd.

The Muse

The Gods dripped honey
Sweet and viscous in our minds
flowing to our pens.
Stories flavoured with colour
And rich vocabulary.

Sunrise

Sunrise, kiss the water pink,
Breathe light into day,
Start with hope renewed.
